Preparing Digital Files: Files can be accepted by one of the following methods: CD, email (5 megabyte limit), or FTP upload.

• Points North is produced entirely on a Macintosh system.
• Preferred file formats are native InDesign files, high-resolution PDFs, EPS’, or Tiffs.
• Resolution for images should be at least 300 dpi at actual size.
• Supplied files must be in CMYK format. No RGB files accepted.
• Complete layouts created in illustration programs such as Adobe Illustrator must be saved in EPS format and all fonts must be converted to outlines.
• Supply all image files and fonts used in your layout.
• We DO NOT accept layouts, illustrations or logos created inthe following programs: Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proofs: A black & white or color proof must be sent with each layout file. Proof and page file must have crop marks indicating trim. If the ad is not accompanied by a required proof, Points North will not be responsible for the final printed piece, including but not limited to: color variations and missing or incorrectly flowed text.
