Lace up with the Locals. Rounding out a national series, the Southern Odyssey Relay Race is an adventure where you can “Run Where the Locals Run.” Starting in Athens on Friday, Oct. 8 and ending in Roswell on Saturday, Oct. 9, the relay involves each member of a 12-person team running three legs of a meticulously chosen 200-mile route that is both scenic and safe. When you aren’t running, you’ll be with good company in your team’s support van along the route. The race sounds like such a fun adventure, we just couldn’t wait until next month to tell you about it. Even one of our own editors signed up for this inaugural event and has promised to tweet her experiences — on and off the road! www.southernodysseyrelay.com.
